Define “stopping ourselves when we limit anyone else’s possibilities”. Stopping at the thought? After the thought? Acknowledging the thought then stopping it? Or just not stopping it at all, witnessing it and acknowledging the value we place it it? Before an action, or just at the internal thought level of placing judged limits on people? What is the direct and indirect effect of that on the other, on the self? Or are we talking the physical act of limiting someone? How might that manifest? The unfortunate thing with the word “stop” is that it implies we are doing something “wrong” which is turn places qualitative values of good and bad on an action, which in turn is self defeating! It’s a minefield. For me, more questions than answers.
