Come to the UK. We have the BBC which gives you free-to-air live coverage, across 4 streams on TV and put to 12 online streamed on its website (UK viewers only, but get a VPN or other and you’ll see it too.)

BBC is far from perfect but for things like the Olympics, we see its best side. And we don’t just see Team GB coverage. We’ve marvelled at Phelps, Simone et. al. along with many per nations.

I share your frustrations of NBC, and in my opinion, all US TV coverage, bloated with ads, and no recognition of the viewer experience.
