Nowadays, It’s more than a challenge to find the tools that can prove to be useful in the everyday life and work of a Digital Marketer, within the massive “noise” that reigns supreme in the internet. Just like anybody else, I’ve stumbled upon countless tools that offer demos and free trials. What I have discovered is that no matter what’s written on the proverbial tin, on the end of the day you decide which of those tools should you combine in order to optimize your time allocation and productivity.

  1. Cyfe
One of the most important things a Marketeer desires is to be able to access easily and quickly, at any time, statistics in his Brand’s channels of activity. Through a dashboard, you can see on the same time Google Analytics statistics, AdWords, MailChimp, Moz, and any other channel you desire. Of course, you can set it up to receive daily e-mail reports, based on your preference.

2. Sumome

Up to now, addthis was the only choice for those who wanted quality integration of social media share buttons, trigger boxes, newsletter bars etc. in their site or blog. I recently discovered sumome, which completely covered my blog’s needs. You can install beautiful social media share buttons completely free, in any part of your blog, as well as other choices mentioned above. The most important thing is that this tool allows you to see detailed daily statistics.

3. Tagboard

A valuable tool for real-time monitoring in a #hashtag of your choice. Tagboard allows you to see in a single board every mention of a #hasthag in facebook, twitter, Instagram, google+, vine and flickr. Like its creator says: “If the hashtag is the new URL, Tagboard is building the next generation’s browser.

4. Twitshot

Twitter is also becoming a multimedia channel (after the introduction of native video) making the visual part play a much more important role. What sets it apart is the fact that you can embed pictures from the URL you paste in the tool’s field. If there are many pictures in the article, you can of course choose between them or crop whichever you want. There’s also a chrome extension available for use.

5. Picdeck

Undoubtedly, Instagram has recently raised its dynamic with some supporting that user engagement is more than double that of Facebook. A different tool can allow you to track a certain #hashtag and interact with those who use it, called picdeck. It adds every #hashtag in a column, and you can see them in an interface following hootsuite’s logic.

6. Pablo

Was there a time when you wanted to create a beautiful photograph with a copy on it, without needing a Designer? Of course there was! Pablo is a tool that frees Community Managers who manage social media channel pages. You can quickly and easily choose a photograph, write anything you want on it, “mess” with the picture. And it takes less than 1 minute.

7. Rapportive

When you send e-mails to both internal and external partners all day long, most of the time you want to know the receiver’s professional background. So, installing this particular tool in your Gmail, you’ll automatically see the receiver’s LinkedIn profile. It’s a very useful took even if you speak with a recruiter, for example.

8. Exclaimer

There’s many of us out there who have spent sleepless nights searching for the suitable structure of a good e-mail signature. This tool freed me in this, since through 5 simple steps, you can create the e-mail signature you were looking for all this time. I highly recommend it.
