Has anyone seen this Steve Carell movie?

“Welcome to Marwen,” also known as “Village of the Dolls” in the UK, was produced by Robert Zemeckis and featured the talented Steve Carell, Leslie Mann, Gwendoline Christie, Eiza Gonzalez, Janelle Monae, among others. Released in theaters in 2018, it unfortunately grossed only $13 million worldwide.

Steve Carell, remembered for his comedic roles, has showcased his versatility in “The Office,” “The 40-Year-Old Virgin,” “Despicable Me,” “Bruce Almighty,” and a host of other films too numerous to list. His multifaceted acting ability is evident, particularly in this film.

“Welcome to Marwen” is an unusual and peculiar film. It’s a reimagining of the original “Marwencol,” directed by Jeff Malmberg in 2010. The original film garnered over two dozen awards for creativity. The book based on the movie is even available on Amazon for readers’ enjoyment.
