Sound Will
Adwoa Gyimah-Brempong

I imagine it’s likely you’ve stumbled across this as well, but I think Mozart’s Lacrimosa is one of the most interesting examples of a “sound will.” I imagine it is what the genius composer was hearing in his head as he died, since it was written by him on his deathbed as part of a Requiem (with the title meaning weeping in Latin!). So sad, and so powerful! It will be inspiration for my sound will for sure. Also, great article! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Death_of_Wolfgang_Amadeus_Mozart#Remembrances_of_Mozart.27s_death
