My sorry limbs

Wake me with strong coffee and watercolors

When my eyes have married the ceiling

and my skin has seeped into the bedsheets

Peel my sorry limbs from the sticky roots

And plant me in front of a canvas

I shall paint with black

I will paint with navy and gray

Capture the sunrise for me

Splash the droplets of light beams in my eyes

Wake me with one million kisses

for every star that has fallen asleep

I will wake up

for you

and again

and once more.
