I fail to see the link between the numbers cited with respect to ESPN’s decline and getting rid of Keith Olbermann. Maybe one of the reasons for the slide is because ESPN put marginal sportscasters who are out of touch with the viewership (like Olbermann) on camera in the first place. He was problem at MSNBC and his track record at ESPN is the same.
