Weavers Get Into Multi Threading

A group of grandmothers from a small town in the midwest have decided to embrace technology and make their process multi-threaded. “Being weavers we’re very interested in improving how we work threads” one 70 year old grandmother explained. In an age where companies such as Amazon deliver goods quick, these grandmas needed something to keep up.

The result was using mutation to grow multiple arms. This has shown a 40% performance increase from the single threaded process. Unfortunately it still has some issues to be worked out with failed mutex management causing pricked fingers. “Instead of dealing with mutexs, some of us simply obtained superhuman speed and rely on a more safer global interpreter lock system.” We’ll update this story with more information when the article’s mutex lock is released.
