The burning star for Jon could be an oblique reference to Arthur Dayne’s sword. Dawn was made of a meteorite, which when falling to Earth would have been a “burning star” and also fell in a literal sense when Dayne was killed by Howland Reed.

Unlikely, I know. But that’s the best I’ve got.

I’ve also been kicking around the idea that the Prince is not necessarily a single person. As the saying goes in the books, “the dragon has three heads.” In this theory, the Prince would be a combination of Dany, Jon, and Tyrion (following the theory he is half-Targaryen). Each would fill one part of the prophecy without one of them needing to fulfill all of it.
