The recent turn of events in the web3 space has led to everyone asking questions about the scalability of the ecosystem. A number of those questions circle around safety and how that plays out for everyone in the future. Currently, it is estimated that we’ve lost about $7.7 billion in crypto due to safety measures not adequately met, as well as a number of other contributing factors.
One of the triggers of these renewed safety and security concerns in crypto is the FTX saga in the cefi world. The actions of SBF exposed both institutions and individuals to catastrophic losses. Outside of that, in places like the Defi and NFT ecosystem, safety and security are serious concerns, as users search for how to avoid loss of assets as they perform transactions.
