Are You Completely Underestimating AI?
Sarvasv Kulpati

Humans are the source of meaning in all this; thinking an AI will turn a bunch of if-then calculations into its own innate, coherent existential meaning is a futurist wet dream. This is hard for AI fanatics who have wholeheartedly embraced left-brained thinking to understand, they are inclined to believe all human motivations, insights, and passions boil down to logical and measurable connections that can simply be replicated by a hyper-processing AI. Meaning is preceded by congruence within one’s environment though, and while humans from their birth are a congruent part of and force within the universe, an AI by its nature is a tool trying to work backwards to establish its congruence — an impossible task.
