But She Never Hit Me
Jay Maddock

Stop being a victim, dude. You’re fine, most of humanity has endured far worse — the things people claim to be problems today are borderline hilarious. Take some responsibility for putting yourself in a less-than-ideal situation and learn from it, don’t get on a soapbox and proclaim what a damaged soul you are.

What’s the endgame of sharing this story? Is it that if you complain enough eventually everyone will be nice to you and there will finally be an end to your and everyone else’s victimhood? If everyone collectively cries enough will the world eventually solve all our problems for us? This is laziness and impotence of character disguised as moral righteousness.

I’m sure you’re a nice person, I only critique because perpetuating this mentality is quickly resulting in a society of people unable to solve problems for themselves.

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
