The Problem Is Not The Problem

I am just so disappointed every time I hear stories like this. And sad. And angry.
Jesus made it perfectly plain that we are all one in Christ, wherever we come from or whatever we be, so to see folks who claim to be Christians thinking and behaving this way just makes me want to bang my head — or somebody’s head. (Not very Christian of me, I know)
I’d like to be able to say something to make you feel better, or say something to them that would open their hearts and minds, but we both know there is nothing I can say that will work either of those magics.
Maybe the best I can do is to quote and old song: Hang on, Sloopy. Sloopy hang on!” Someday it’s gonna happen. I have faith in that. Your fingernails just got to last that long.
