The US government lies to the world, lies to its citizens, and departments within the government lie to each other and play dog-in-the-manger games with useful information so that nothing helpful is accomplished when it could have been.

Their government bullies other governments into co-operating with their illegal tactics, finances and arms “allies” which later turn on them, and supports US corporate interests that cause illness, death and destruction around the world.

Is it any wonder that anti-US sentiment is growing everywhere?

Do what’s right and clean up your own house before you tell other people how to live their lives.

What place do ‘black ops’ and secret detention centres have in a democratic society? The world has fought wars in order to have people treated fairly and for justice to be open.

Government should not be able to avoid answering for what it has done and the authors of these atrocities must be brought to account.

Why are more US citizens not demanding that prisoners such as this be released? How is the court getting away with taking so long over this case?
