Everyone has a little bad racist troll jumping around in her/his brain, one that has to be fought every day. Human brains search for simple selective filters and explanations. And many gather a lot of frustration in their lives that they want to project on someone they can easily identify.

Ok this guy obviously never thought about his inner racist troll, he most probably embraced it and was happy for its guidance.
