I am quiet new to medium.com and was using tumblr as wells as twitter. I’m not sure if you’re relating to the technical improvements or to the user behaviour. On Twitter it for sure moved towards sharing everything all the time. It’s very hard to find any unique posts from regular users, that makes it very frustrating. Tumblr is also becoming a share it all, and mostly image dominated site. But on medium.com? I’m new, so I don’t know how it was before. Do you think the content gets shallower? Do you think the percentage of social media flooders is increasing? (PS: It’s fun to read the other comments.)
