Your went through the Traitor’s blade, the Knight’s shadow, The Saint’s blood and now, you just finished the Tyrant thrones but already misses the incredible yet funny interaction between Falcio and his friends. This Series probably made you laugh as much as it made your heart beat from anticipation of every fight, but every thing has an end, and god, this one was good. Now, you find yourself searching for something to live up to this potential, something funny, adventurous with a bit of fantasy. Well, search no more because I’ve got your back!

The Kings of the Wyld

This book takes an uncommon approach to the fantasy style. Instead of depicting the birth of an epic group of warriors, it follows their reunion many years from their prime as they prepare their old body to go for a last mission to help someone in need. The story is told with constant lightness which doesn't shy away from humor. A must-read in any case.

The Red Mage, Book #1 of the Aklantis Legacy

While its first sounds like an LitRPG , the Red Mage of Aklantis actually provides a funny and compelling underdog story. The "high-school story vibe" of the beginning quickly shies away from fantasy clichés and bring you to laugh from the character's misadventures until it dives into a more serious plots while managing to navigate through modern topics between the action scenes.

The Spellslinger Series

The second Series wrote by Sebastien de Castell is another underdog story but with a more serious tone than the Greatcoats. Don't get me wrong, you will still find tone of humor in it, especially when the main character interacts with his furry speaking friend, but if you're looking for the same type of banters and character dynamic you enjoyed in the Greatcoats, you might not get as much as you would want, but don't get me wrong, De Castell is a formidable author and still delivers compelling story with touching characters and incredible cliff hangers. I read every single books of this series and enjoyed every one of them, and one thing is sure, it definitely holds it promise to constantly prevent you from guessing the end.
