“The mind is loud and I don’t like that.

How can I keep it to stay in presence?
How can minds attention just stay with presence?

The habit will change.

How did it start going to the mind?
What makes it go to the mind?

The mind is always chatting something, always giving you some instruction, always telling you some lies or exaggerating something.

What is the attraction with that?

Because it is also creative, an area of creative possibilities, and attachments, identity. All of this is part of the minds function and play.

So we have some interest in that of course.

We have a love/hate relationship with our minds.

When you want something from the mind, you very much like it but when it crosses the line without your permission, you don’t like it and you say Okay mind, enough go! And the mind is like nope! I like it here!

And then you say, omg I cannot control my mind. How can I control my mind?

What mind are we talking about? Not just the practical mind. That’s not the mind that causes trouble. It’s more the psychological side of the mind and what is that area? That has to do a lot with who you think you are. Your person, your desires, your attachments, and so on.

That is what is the fascination when we go to the mind. Because so much of our aspirations, memories, desires, attachments, self image, is the product of the psychological mind.

The one who is free is free from the influence of the psychological mind.

People have transcended that as you can also transcend that yourself.

That’s all a human being has to do. Is detach from the sticky influence of the psychological identity. That leads to a state called awakening, to put it in simple terms.”

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
