Thanks for your response! Really glad you enjoyed the article. I would say that looking at roles on a product team would be a good idea. If you work in customer service/support team, you could use that as good leverage to move into one of these roles at another company by highlighting that the experience really helped you to internalize the importance of the user’s experience, etc. A core part of being in product management is being able to understand user needs, so I’d say that is a great start.
