In case you’ve temporarily forgotten about “Schrödinger’s Cat,” it’s a thought experiment proposed by the noted 20th century physicist, Erwin Schrödinger. Briefly: A cat is enclosed in a box. Inside the box is a poisonous discharge that could be triggered by an unpredictable event (decay of a single atom).
