Weekly Update — Sept 3, 2018

It was a great week at Cypherglass. We were voted back into the top21 and are currently sitting at lucky number 13. We had a slight hiccup producing blocks when we moved back up. A few weeks ago we made some changes to our producer key configuration. One typo ended up being the problem, which we quickly diagnosed and corrected. Along with our stalwert team, our dedicated infrastructure is excited to be churning out blocks again.
- The bounty has been decided and we will be announcing a winner after Ledger announces support for EOS, which should happen on September 4th. Ledger is currently verifying security and functionality, and the user interface looks great as well.
- We added some entries from an ECAF order to our blacklist.
- We started tweaking and testing some new alerts for VMWare.
- We are investigating a potential inconsistency with our API nodes. Looks like it might be a bug in the NODEOS version, but we aren’t sure yet.
- We spent some time documenting various support procedures for our environment including unregproducing, building VMs and upgrading EOS software.
- We are still looking for a new developer, so if you know someone who writes great code sent them our way.
It’s been a great week, and we are incredibly happy to be serving the EOS community by producing blocks again.
Have a great week, and feel free to reach out to us.
