That’s great advice, although most at 17 will have no idea what they will enjoy for the next 20 years. I would say to be serious about figuring it out over the next couple of years. Like you wrote, taking 30-day sessions of focus can reap large benefits. If a young person did that for a while they would likely find several things they really love and can do well. Then focus on that for the next 20 years. I wish I would’ve done that. I’m 50 now, although I don’t feel that old (young at heart, lol) and it really does pass fast.

Don’t waste it.

All you have is time and that’s not a given. Really, you have only this moment… right now.
