Joined Firebase Dev Summit in Amsterdam🇳🇱 from Tokyo
In Oct. 31, the greatful developer conference was held in Amsterdam by Firebase. I’m using Firebase Real-time Database in product and interested in Cloud Firestore, the newest database released beta on early Oct. , so I decided to join.
The beautiful city
I arrived Amsterdam on Oct. 29. It was little cold night. I took place to stay via Airbnb.
Amsterdam is very beautiful city and have lots of liver, bridge and beautiful houses. I only walked around in the city, but I was very fun.
The new products are released
On the conference, mainly three new products are released.
The first is Firebase Prediction. Firebase can be predicated the next user event from tracked Google Analytics(Firebase Analytics) events, so we can use for pushing notifications for users on withdrawing, or publish coupons for specified user group. It is useful to prevent users away from your apps.
The next one is A/B testing. Before this feature is released, we try to do A/B testing using Firebase Remote Config. Now that Firebase officially supports A/B testing on Remote Config.
The last one is Firebase Clashlytics. The clashlytics was the part of Fabric, which is bought by Google. They are working to integrate Fabric to Firebase. We can see clash report from Firebase console.

Great meeting to Firebase staffs
I have a few friends on Firebase and said hello, and said nice to meet you ti other new staffs. The conference is the chance to meet the people ordinary on the internet.
Talking about Firebase on the serverlessconf Tokyo
After attending meetup, I go back to Tokyo and talked about Realtime Database and Firestore on serverlessconf Tokyo on Nov.3. It was nice conference for serverless e.g. AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure and so on.
