I’m very excited to announce that the new version of DabKick is now available for iOS: Download DabKick for free on the App Store.

Mixed Media Live in DabKick

DabKick is a live communication experience, one which we think will reinvent how we enjoy media together. We’ve spent nearly 5 years developing it, even taking out two patents on new technology that makes up the backbone of the DabKick UX:

Mixed Media Live: This “media call” technology enables users to instantly share and enjoy video, music, photos, and images with multiple users at the same time, within the same screen: Videos, photos, music, live video, all while chatting or talking in the same live session.

Rapid Photo Live in DabKick

Rapid Photo Live: Capture and show photos live, instantly with friends in a fraction of a second. It’s our patented hybrid of peer-to-peer and cloud technology, and we’re proud to say it’s near instantaneous. In fact, roughly 20x faster than Snapchat or Instagram.

We have many more features to add and update, and bugs to fix, so I hope you try it out and share your feedback — please post comments here, or reach out to me on Twitter or via LinkedIn.

More about DabKick below. I’d like to thank my team for their talent and dedication, which helped make this possible, and our new advisor Andy Grignon, who’s drawing from what he learned at Apple and Palm to help bring DabKick to the rest of the world.

Other DabKick Features:

Live Video in DabKick

Customizable Live Video: Stream live video while sharing media with friends, custom-made groups, or designated DabKick channels, in sessions with up to 100,000 users online together at the same time.

Live Jukebox: Create and queue music videos lists and share them with users, while enjoying other media like photos and live video. Add tracks submitted by others during a live sessions.

Once again, we’d love your feedback, so please visit us online at www.DabKick.com and on Twitter @DabKick!
