Buffalo? Buffalo has the worst winters of any major city in N. America. It is much windier than Chicago and it gets the second most snow after Rochester, NY. The winters are going to be warmer, but every few years you will get hammered with huge amounts of snow. If you are really unlucky, it will be a full blown blizzard that will kill people.
I can’t see living anywhere near the coast now, will be viable by 2100 due to sea level incursion upon land — so that rules out Bangor and Buffalo at least in this list, I imagine. And imagine is all we can do, looking so far ahead.
