The WHO has labeled the Coronavirus as pandemic and I think that is the correct decision.

“In the past two weeks, the number of cases of #COVID19 outside of China has increased 13-fold & the number of affected countries has tripled. There are now more than 118,000 cases in 114 countries, & 4,291 people have lost their lives” — Dr. Tedros Ghebreyesus, Director-General of the World Health Organization.

A few years back, I remembered watching Ted Talk and Bill Gates simulated the possible impact of the next outbreak. After seeing the statement made by the WHO General, Gates worst fears may become a reality.

This Is Not A Drill

So how you prepare for the possible challenges ahead or should you? I believe you should take this pandemic seriously. Ever heard the phrase: prevention is always better than the cure? Protecting every member of your family is #1 priority — especially if you’re a parent or have siblings under your care.

Even if you think this is a nothing-burger, things are looking grim globally. Italy is in full lockdown, Iran is currently being hit hard and events are being postponed. Based on current projections, things could get worst before it gets better.

Prepare Your Immune System

If you’ve never thought about the importance of your immune system, I think now is the time to do so. That was the message my nutritionist gave to me and I’m relaying it to you. Here is the list of supplements he recommends that could help boost your immune system. NB: you don’t have to get these exact items, but the list mentioned below are all-natural products.

  • Catalyn: This has been my go-to supplement for the past 3years. Fully packed with Vitamin A (40% DV), C, D (39% DV), B1, B2 & B6 (59% DV). I’ve never taken a sick day off from work thanks to this product. I shared a few with my close friends and they have similar testimonials. Daily Value (DV).
  • Cataplex A-C-P: Another natural supplement having Vitamin A & C as the primary nutrients. Based on research very good for your immune system.
  • Body Detox from Body Health: Currently this what we use to ensure my newly born son maintains his health. Most don’t think about detoxing but is an excellent way of removing unwanted chemicals from your body.
  • Vitamin D3: this is another immune system booster. You should be able to find this supplement with relative ease.

If you can’t find any of these items, remember there are fruits and vegetables which are good sources of these essential vitamins. Please ensure you follow preventative measures such as washing your hands for 20seconds, avoid touching your face, etc. Here are a few tips from the WHO.

Be safe!
