San Tin Science and Technology City, with a total area of 627 hectares!
The Hong Kong government proposed the construction of San Tin Technology City in the “Northern Metropolitan Area Development Strategy” and submitted a document to the Legislative Council on May 18 to explain the land use proposals for San Tin Technology City. The document points out that the total area of the innovation and technology park and San Tin city center that Xintian Science and Technology City is 627 hectares.

On June 13, 2023, Councilor Leung Jun-yin, Chairman of the Legislative Council of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, inspected the CIMC modular building production base. DaFang AI demonstrated the DF033 residential wall finishing robot during this inspection.
In a small container, DF033 can autonomously navigate and accurately position, and flexibly operated wall finishing work, which aroused the great interest of Mr. Leung Jun-yin.
The robot’s autonomous navigation and precise operation capabilities can greatly improve construction efficiency in Hong Kong’s residential construction and are of great significance to alleviating the shortage of construction workers in Hong Kong. Dafang Intelligent’s technological innovation will promote the development of Hong Kong’s construction industry and promote further integration of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
This inspection event is a step for Dafang Intelligent to participate in the construction of the northern new area of Hong Kong. It also brings new opportunities to promote the application and development of intelligent building technology in Hong Kong.
