Thanks for sharing your canonical book shelf and a bit behind the ‘why’ for those select titles. The spatial memory stuff really set me at ease because I tend to get scared when it gets messy.

Background in graphic and visual design here. Highly recommend anything Ellen Lupton writes/contributes to, so ‘Thinking With Type’ is great. Another book on the application of color design principles I’ve recently been into: ‘Color Works’ by Eddie Opara and John Cantwell.
