I probably follow more pubs than you, accounting for why this looks different from your own feed. Still, the recommendations I see from followers I follow are interesting to me because they help me expand my reading list. For me, I like it, because it feels like how my Kindle and Audible accounts recommend books based on what I’ve read in the past. Without them, I’d be locked into word-of-mouth, authors I already know, and the occasional book I find when I have the time to research on my own (which is never).

Asking you to tweak your followers so you have fewer isn’t the answer: Our team is working on this, though, with an eye to the pain points you are feeling.
