Introducing collections on the web

We’re rolling out some improvements to the Medium homepage today. Some of you may already see these changes. Barring any gremlins and unforeseen bumps along the way, everyone will see the changes by the end of the day.

So what’s new?

First up, the header: Collections, previously available only on iOS and Android, are now on the web. Collections are curated by our fabulous editorial team and a select group of trusted testers, and help create a more browsable Medium.

We’ve also changed up the sidebar. It’s now dynamically populated with headlines from the day’s collections. Below that, you’ll find the tags you follow. We’ve made these changes based on your input and our research that this is the best way to surface a wider array of cool stuff for you.
