“Stardust Dreams”

In a prehistoric world, where giants roamed,
A young dinosaur’s heart with wonder was comb,
Eyes twinkling with excitement, full of glee,
As a shooting star streaked across the canopy.

“Mother, oh mother, see the star so bright!
I’ll make a wish upon this dazzling light.”
The young one leapt, filled with dreams anew,
Unaware of the fate that nature would pursue.

The mother’s gaze, a mixture of love and sorrow,
She knew the truth, the impending morrow.
For in the heavens, a comet’s ominous flight,
Destined to change their world, extinguishing the light.

But she held back, a secret she’d keep,
To shield her young one from a truth so deep.
She smiled and nodded, with tenderness in her eyes,
Hoping to preserve the innocence, truth’s disguise.

The young dinosaur closed their eyes so tight,
Wishing for joy and wonders in their sight.
With pure innocence, their wish, to the sky they released,
Unaware of the darkness lurking behind the peace.

As the comet approached, its presence grew,
A silent harbinger of a world that would undo.
The mother held her young one, a love so strong,
Whispering stories of hope, a sweet lullaby song.

She spoke of courage, of dreams to chase,
Of a love that endures, in all that it face.
She painted a tapestry of stars in the sky,
As the comet’s arrival drew ever nigh.

With each passing moment, her heart did ache,
But for her young one, she’d stay awake.
She treasured the fleeting moments, oh so dear,
For in her arms, her young one held no fear.

And as the night turned to a crimson hue,
The comet arrived, the end overdue.
The world quivered, under nature’s decree,
But the mother held on, her love unceasingly.

In the young one’s eyes, a last glimpse of light,
A tender moment, before the eternal night.
With a final breath, the mother whispered low,
“Know that you’re loved, wherever you may go.”

For in that moment, amidst the cosmic wrath,
Love’s enduring power surpassed death’s path.
The young dinosaur carried on, with love’s embrace,
Holding memories of stardust dreams, a legacy in space.

And so, the shooting star became a tale,
Of a mother’s love, never to fail.
In the young one’s heart, a flame shall burn,
As they journey through time, a lesson learned.

For even in darkness, love’s light remains,
A bond unbreakable, amidst life’s gains.
In stardust dreams, a mother’s love will stay,
Guiding the young one’s path, every step of the way.
