Gary Vee Is Not The Problem.

This is the perfect response to Nat's controversial Struggle Porn post, Tim!

I guess I agree to both opinions though I am mainly leaning towards — “Take the responsibility for your own actions” path.

The challenge with haters which I understand is that since Gary Vee, Russell Brunson, Robin Sharma, and others go for the general audience, they need to dumb down, simplify their messages.

So for some smarter people, those messages of hustle and oversimplified motivational quotes doesn't sit too well.

The thing is though that we can still learn from these awesome people — Gary's books (have read all of them) are full of gold. Same way, interviews and his speeches are amazing.

Just if you go for short nuggets — quotes, 1min motivational videos — they quickly feel silly.

No size fits all. There was also saying about how you can be the ripest peach in the whole world, but there will still be people who hate peaches.

It's easy to hate on people on top and I'm sure Nat Eliason post was to spark the controversy. He's a smart marketer after all.

To conclude

Pointing finger to someone takes away your power and totally agree, Tim, that you should take full responsibility of your own actions and mistakes.

I also had to learn the hard way that hustle by itself is useless. Directed hustle in smart, focused direction — now we're talking.

And even if Gary embodies the word “HUSTLE”, he also is obsessed about being SMART about this same hustle. Just many of us starting out don't get it and miss 50% of the equation and end up blaming Gary.

Their loss.

We know better — we admit our mistake, improve and do it again.
