Hack Reactor: Life Lessons
These past 4 weeks have been some of the most challenging of my life. Sometimes I worry about getting behind in my work, but then we start a new topic and I find myself interested all over again. Many other people have written some great blogs about what we have learned in class, so I will share a few things that I have learned outside of the material:
1. How to cook for an entire week in a single day! This has actually been a great lesson in efficiency, and it has even forced me to eat a little healthier.
2. The most destructive thing to learning is falling behind. I have learned how important it is to stay on top of work every day. Putting work off until the last minute is not an option when there is so much work to be done. This is also a lesson for life outside of the class.
3. The best way to avoid stress is to talk to somebody about it. Working in paris (or in a team) is a great way to learn, but also to get support from my classmates, and hopefully provide some of my own.
Next time I blog, I will let you know if these lessons remain true for me (although I’m pretty sure they will).
