Dino Bravo

The Italian-born Adolfo Bresciano began his official wrestling career in 1970. He went under the name Dino Bravo. For twenty years, he was living out the dream he had since he was a child. But, then, life after professional wrestling did not treat him well and his life was mysteriously taken.

Bravo became involved with crime. Specifically, he organized crime under the guise of his Uncle-in-law and crime boss of the Cotroni crime family, Vincenzo Cotroni. He would work as a chauffeur, among other jobs. But despite this, there was something within Dino that he knew the life of crime was not for him, but he felt he hadn’t a way out due to lifestyle choices and debt. And because of that, he got into illegal cigarette smuggling.

At 44, Dino Bravo’s life would be mysteriously and tragically taken. He was shot in his home multiple times. Who found him was his wife, seeing blood everywhere. It was said there was no forced entry into the home, so he likely knew the person or persons and felt comfortable enough to let them in before the murder occurred, shooting him from behind in the head ten times.

Dino’s death was supposedly something he saw coming as he told close friends that he thought of his days as numbered, but then the question remains as to who could’ve done this.
