I don’t think I could’ve ever guessed in a million years that an actor we are all familiar with was the son of a hitman, but this is true. However, my mentioning this means nothing, considering that this is solely about Charles Harrelson. Who Was Charles Harrelson?
Charles Voyde Harrelson was born in 1938 in Texas to parents Alma and Voyde Harrelson. Not much is known about his childhood, but many family members worked in law enforcement. He would enlist in the Navy only to be discharged years later.
Harrelson would begin a different life path as opposed to what his family members had forged for themselves, getting arrested in 1959 for robbery.
