Mark Salling

Mark Salling’s life changed when he was cast in Ryan Murphy’s Fox series “Glee.” Glee, premiering on May 19th, 2009, is a musical comedy-drama that centers around glee club members in a fictional high school. The show infamously covers popular songs and deals with topics such as sexuality, adoption, teenage pregnancy, and many more.

Glee starred actors Cory Monteith, Lea Michele, Naya Rivera, and many others, but our focus for today is Mark Salling. Salling starred as Noah “Puck” Puckerman, a football star turned glee member. His character was received positively, garnering Salling two Teen Choice Award nominations.

Months after the popular Fox show premiered its series finale in March 2015, everything went downhill for Mark in the blink of an eye. In the same month, there was a settlement out of court of $2.7 million after an ex-girlfriend accused the actor and singer of sexual assault. In December 2015, Salling was arrested after being served a warrant to search his home on suspicions, from the tip of an ex-girlfriend, that he was possessing videos and photographs of child pornography. And they found photos, 50,000 images, and hundreds of videos.
