Easy way to upload your Book on DakowaBooks
Publishing your Book on DakowaBooks is very easy, fun, and free. We will go through the steps involved.
NOTE!!!
Make sure that you have an active and strong internet connection and your book cover is ready.
DakowaBooks only accept EPUB file. You can easily cover your book to EPUB by using Google Docs.
Step 1 — Download and Install
Download and install DakowaBooks app from the app store (only available on Google play store for now).
Step 2 — Create account and Login
Create your free account if you already have an account, you can proceed to log in and if you cannot remember your password, you can use the forgot password to recover it.
Step 3 — Open your Profile
Click on the ME button which is located on the bottom app bar. You can either click on Become a Publisher or My Published Books.
If you clicked on My Published Books, on the new page click on the add button at the top right corner
Step 4 — Add Basic Info
Select your book/literature genre or category. Add Title, Author full name, ISBN, Synopsis
Step 5- Free or Paid
Check the is literature free box if your book is free. If it is free, your readers will not pay anything to read/access it. If it is not free, then set the amount you want to sell your book. Please refer to our terms of use.
Step 6- Upload EPUB
Leave the soft copy box always checked and select your EPUB file. DakowaBooks only accept EPUB formats for now.
Step 7- Publish now or later
If you wish to publish your book now, check the publish now box and your book will be made available to the public immediately you click on the Save button.
If you do not want to publish now, you can leave the box unchecked.
Step 8- Upload Cover Picture
At this stage, you will observe that you have not uploaded or added any book cover to this published book.
Now, navigate to the My Published Book screen. Select your newly uploaded book by tapping on the camera icon on it, select your desired cover picture from your device, and you are done.
If you wish to publish your book now, click on the edit button, check the publish now button, and save.
Step 9 — Book Tag
Your book is now available on DakowaBooks. You only need to share the book tag with your friends and readers.
Your book can be easily retrieved with the tag or title.
