Fund your wallet on DakowaBooks
A funded wallet on DakowaBooks can be used to achieve many great things. Some of them are:
- Getting paid books
- Promoting your books
You can fund your wallet through your profile screen or when buying/checking out a book.
Using Book Checkout Page
When checking out, you will find a button (Fund Wallet with NGN 1,000). Click on this button will take you through the process of funding your wallet with the aforementioned value.
Please note that this method does not allow editing of the value and a value of NGN 1,000 will be debited from your credit card.
Using Profile Page
- Open Me tab on the bottom app bar
- Click on Fund Wallet Button
- Enter your desired amount or use the already preset amount (NGN 1,000)
- Enter your card details (Powered by Paystack)
- Your wallet will be funded if everything is successful.
NOTE!!!

DakowaBooks payout is weekly with a threshold of NGN 100. By default, all wallets on DakowaBooks are locked so that only Authors can also have control over the automatic payout.
So you need to unlock your wallet in order to receive your payout weekly. Here are the steps to achieve it:
- Open Me tab on the bottom app bar
- Toggle Lock Wallet switch to lock and unlock your wallet as intended.
