And you assume this fear isn’t coming from unconscious biases, because you know what is exactly in their subconscious. The fact that they have been so driven to fear of racial violence of an entire race because some very bad people (killers of police have been both black and white, there are no real numbers on the race of cop killers) some of them black, that they have decided all black people should be denied their support suggest that there was already a subconscious bias. Turning against an entire group of people because some of them hurt your feelings means you were never really looking to do the right thing anyways
