A pardon for all the Trump associates now under investigation would be the best way to wrap this up. It would end the “Russia” witch hunt and allow the subjects to tell their stories to the Congress and the public without fear of prosecution and of perjury traps.

It is highly unlikely that the President himself has any criminal liability re Russia, and it is also unlikely that his associates have broken any state laws.

Trump needs to pardon his associates, take the short term PR hit, and get on with his Presidency.

Meanwhile, the Dems need to focus on real issues and on winning elections rather than on the personal destruction of the President and his circle of supporters.
