I like the idea of focus. I got the iPad Pro and wanted to like it. Although I think it is a great device in many ways (perf, pen, etc) I found the constrictive environment make me wonder “wait, why am I doing this?”.

Key combinations killed me. The keyboard on the pro is OK, but man…. Not having rich keyboard combos is really painful. It is true uncanny valley to alt-tab and then hit a combo that doesn’t work.

And then there is the death by paper-cuts. All of those lil systems I have in place that just aren’t available.
