Ronda Rousey vs. Amanda Nunes UFC 207 complete updates and preview

UFC 207: Nunes vs. Rousey is an upcoming mixed martial arts event that will be held by the Ultimate Fighting Championship on December 30, 2016 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The event is expected to be headlined by a UFC Women’s Bantamweight Championship bout between current champion Amanda Nunes and former champion Ronda Rousey.

A UFC Bantamweight Championship bout between current champion Dominick Cruz and Cody Garbrandt is currently scheduled to co-headline the event.

A potential heavyweight title eliminator bout between former UFC Heavyweight Champions Fabrício Werdum and Cain Velasquez is expected to take place on the card.[4] The pairing met previously in June 2015 at UFC 188, with then interim champion Werdum unifying the title, as he won the fight via submission in the third round.[5]

Another potential title eliminator includes a bantamweight bout between former champion T.J. Dillashaw and John Lineker.

Matt Brown was expected to face former Strikeforce Welterweight Champion Tarec Saffiedine at the event. However, Brown was pulled from the fight on November 11 in favor of a matchup with former UFC Lightweight Championship challenger Donald Cerrone three weeks earlier at UFC 206.[8] Saffiedine will now face Dong Hyun Kim.[

There have been uncertainties with regards to Ronda Rousey’s return date. But apparently, UFC president Dana White may have dropped a valuable hint when he said that there was a “big chance” for a “Rowdy” comeback before the year ends .

According to Damon Martin of FOX Sports, Rousey has already been offered a fight against current women’s 135-pound champion Amanda Nunes for UFC 207 Live Streaming

on December 30th in Las Vegas. While nothing has been made final as of this posting, no agreements have been signed, and negotiations are said to be ongoing.

White had repeatedly mentioned that Rousey would be getting an immediate title shot upon her return, a scenario which legends like Don Frye are strongly against. But for her part, the current champion says that while she does intend to fight sooner than later, she is willing to wait for the offer to fight Rousey.

“I’d be happy to wait if they tell me, ‘You are gonna fight Ronda Rousey, for sure, next year, this day.’ I’d wait,” Nunes said. “But if it’s nothing for sure, if it’s nothing set, I can’t wait. I want to fight. But we’ll see.”
