Haha. What would you recommend for someone who is just spinning their wheels though? Recently I can tell you that a classmate of mine and I spent 8 hours non-stop trying to figure out how to properly do callbacks in Javascript. When, in fact, we did understand how to do it, and had solved the exercise correctly, although we thought we hadn’t because the function whose name was “callback” was, in fact, not called back… We got it though, and employed callbacks in the process, and were later informed that our original solution would have indeed gotten the full credit. At what point do you say enough is enough?

I think that if you’re spinning your wheels… it’s better to get a friend with a truck to pull you out of the mud; and the quicker you do this, after giving it a fair shot, the better.
