I like
When books are old
And their pages have been stained yellow with age
I like when the pages are fragile and the author is long gone.
When the words contain a wisdom long forgotten
And hide messages beneath them to be decrypted by an avid reader and her cup of coffee
I like when a story is timeless
It's cover is worn out and its binding falls out but the meaning in the inking never fades.
I like when the weather is rebellious and brings about uncertainty
I like when the sky has a filter that transports you into a poem
That transforms you into a poem
I like when a poem is written clearly
When it's meaning is surface but hidden so cleverly
