Gash
Three dogs were standing in front of our house--an uncompleted building roofed with corrugated iron sheets, fitted with nets that kept waiting for the arrival of windows, and plastering the walls was the hope of things to come. The dogs were of different colours. One which was a mix of white and black was standing in front of a reddish brown one and the last which was behind the reddish brown at the middle was brown, flecked with white. The dog at the middle had sustained a deep gash at one of the hind legs. While the one in front kept its mouth close to the wounded dog at the middle, the last one was cautiously lapping on the wound. The wounded dog yelped and startled the other two. But the black and white one kept its mouth close and seemed to be entreating the reddish brown dog to be quiet and endure the treatment. The dog endured the treatment till the end before it limped away behind the two other dogs.
