The victim was not yet 18, therefore using children in the cartoon is appropriate. Judging by the behavior of American police as of late, it can safely be assumed that the victim either feared for his life, or was baited into attacking so Deputy Donut would have an excuse to get his gun off. Either way, he failed to do everything in his power to defuse the situation non-violently like we pay him to do.
And don’t give me this “they don’t want to be there any more than we do” nonsense. They LOVE dressing up like army men because they are too cowardly to serve in a real unit. That’s to say nothing of the illegality of American troops occupying American soil, which, with their trendy GI Joe gear, they are technically guilty of.
There are studies that show, more often than not, the police are the ones responsible for escalating situations, particularly protest situations, so that they have an excuse to use excessive force. This is an breach of their contracts, since they are not allowed to act on personal or political ideologies. But as they say, when you are a hammer, everything tends to start looking like a nail.
I would advise you to visit the ACLU website and educate yourself on racial discrimination in the criminal justice system. The stats don’t lie.
