Hmm. Where I come from that means that the company really does not care about parents. And that use of the term “griping” is both inappropriate and revealing here.

Just because an employer is a parent themselves, they are almost certainly on a much higher salary than most of their employees and tend to have more options available to them. Being a parent in itself does not in any way mean that an employer cares about the parents in their organisation. What a disappointing read.
