The right to call someone by their surname rather than resort to the world of pronouns. The right to scan that little bit of flesh left on a glove after a handshake to determine who has got what chromosome, or not. The right to broadcast or set up a publicly accessible data base of people who have the chromosome of one sex but culturally portray themselves as of another sex.
