While I agree that designers can use and should have a better business acumen; I also think that designers can be taught that so that they can make more informed decisions based around prioritizing design changes.

However I find this article ATROCIOUS in agreement with @Breno because design school in my opinion does not make any type of designer but allows an already artistic leaning creative guidance and process on how to make their visions reality.

In my experience I have found that the most revolutionary designers I have worked with cared little for business and cared deeply about the customers and helping them in a way that they understand.

I have always trusted my business partners to be great at just that, the business of it all, the second they start designing is the second I quit.
