What it’s like to be at the center of a fake news conspiracy theory
Washington Post

I’m sorry this happened to you, or to anybody. Because there is more of this kind of rabid attacking going on everywhere in our society. It happened to me and a good friend (93 years old) of mine in a restaurant New Year’s weekend. Another customer waiting for a table came to our table and shouted at us — a long harangue — for making them wait for their large party to be seated. I’ve never witnessed or had this happen to me in my life, and I’ve been going to restaurants, large, small, famous and otherwise, since I was a little girl. Took me awhile to figure out what brought it on. It was bullying, pure and simple. And that’s what we have at the top. You were bullied — by a LOT of people. And knowing how that feels, I’m sorry it happened to you.

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?
